Book Review

I just got the new book “the art of polymer clay millefiori techniques” by the queen, Donna Kato.
The book is comprised with very simple to understand projects. The accompanied pictures are in a reasonable size, colorful, and in high resolution – very easy to follow.
Donna invited me to participate in her book thus one of the gallery pictures is mine. I feel so honored. this is the first time that my work is published in another artist’s book and having it Donna’s book is more than I could dream of.
Donna has a great way of making simple designs look like million dollar- that is a part of her magic. This way the book is very friendly for beginners yet very inspiring for more advanced users.
Her experience in teaching around the globe really shows- the explanations and tips in the book are very very helpul and educative.
You can buy the book on line at amazon

Dan Cormier's workshop- the cutting adge

I just came back from a workshop with Dan Cormier at Iris Mishly’s house.
It was Dan’s 6th workshop in Israel (3rd in a raw) and all I can say is that I am amazed with what this man does with Polymer clay.
Following Dan’s work in the past few years made me appreciate his level of perfection. The level he has taken the mica shift technique is simply amazing.
Today, after seeing his work in person, touching the finished work and listening to the elaborated explanations during the workshops I feel that I want more… I wish I was that patient while working and half organized as Dan…
It was such a great workshop can’t wait for the next workshop with Dan, when we learn how to create beads from the wonderful sheets we made
