Around the clock
Today we moved to Summer clock in ISrael and switched the time one hour later - it is so much easier with kids when the days are longer and we can hang outsite so I am mostly happy about the change. I say mostly since personally I am a cold-weather type of girl. I am always hot in the summer, prying for it to end..what is a better day to post a link to this site, around clocks .
Around Clocks is a company created by Margaret Bernatt. Her fascination with old watches and time pieces is leading her into yet another venture... decorative, whimsical wall and desk clocks.
All pieces are handcrafted using modeling clay (polymer clay) as a medium, also incorporating wood, plywood, crystals, ornamental beads and objects d'art.
Each clock is individually made and later handpainted with metallic paints. Clock dials are especially made to complement designs as well as enhance the colour chart and painted finishes. Finally, each time piece is completed with a quartz movement, one AA battery and carries a two year guarantee.
thank you Sigal Simovich for this lovely link

belly casting
can you imagine casting your belly when pregnant and covering the cast with polymer clay?
i know about belly casting but i never saw someone who actually decorates the cast after making it
Hopes art is not making the cast from clay but i find the whole matter very inspiring.

Inspired by nature
Andy Rogers takes ceramic to a new level. his work is inspired by nature as one can obviously see.he says:
For me, there is nothing more exciting than finding and viewing colors, textures, patterns, and forms that I had not seen before. My intent is not to replicate these objects, but to simply translate what I have seen in unique and interesting ways. I work to embody the subtle delights of these details that can only be seen through intense investigation of the piece. Beauty for me is the quiet, the growing, the naturally emerging vessels produced by the earth. I in turn push my creativity to develop new objects that could likely be found living and growing in nature.

Horse ornament
Craft Corral sculpts horses from polymer clay- what i like about these horse ornaments is that they are not cut with clay cutters- each horse is cut by hand
it is so nice how people find their way to combine their passion for non polymer things (horses in this case) with polymer clay
you can see more of Denise's horses on her web site http://www.myclayart.com/horseornaments.htm
פיסול קישוטי סוסים מחימר פולימרי. מה שיפה בסוסים הללו, מלבד הדוגמאות המענגות היא העובדה שהם אינם חתוכים באמצעות חותכנים- כל אחד חתוך ידנית.

PC covered switch plates
nothing like decorating your home with Polymer Clay - one of my favorite methods is covering switch plates. look at these lovely switch plates by Tania P.
here are some -
lovely switch plates made by wear-art she says The light switch idea was a suggestion from a friend, she thought they would be popular and she was right.she uses a reverse mosaic style and incorporate other canes of clay designs, faces and flowers. Some of them have dancing figures drawn as a stencil first and then cut out of the clay.
